Help requests

Grant any of the following help requests that you can.You may grant a help request in part or in full.

But, if money or a valuable is involved, you probably should actually give money or a valuable to the help requestor only after you have physically met them; except their need is public knowledge or is otherwise verifiable. So that you are not scammed.

Help requests not available to grant are marked Granted, Under discussion, or Cancelled. If a help request is marked Under discussion, it may be available to grant later.

If a help request has its own scroll bar, scroll to the bottom of the help request to see whether it is marked Cancelled, Under discussion, Ungranted, Partly granted, or Granted (meaning fully granted). You may also see one or more links.

If a help request is for information or advice, and it is available to grant, and you want to supply the information or advice, click the Comment link at the bottom of the help request, and state your information or advice.

(If a help request for information or advice is marked Partly granted and you want to know the remaining part to grant, click the Comments link at the bottom of the help request. Read the comment or comments marked Accepted comment, to see what part of the help request has been answered. If a comment has its own scroll bar, scroll to the bottom of the comment to see any mark or link that there is.)

If a help request is other than for information or advice, and it is available to grant, and you want to grant it, click the Grant request link at the bottom of the help request. When you click Grant request, it opens communication on the help request between you and the help requestor. This opening of communication on the help request and the subsequent granting of the help request will be documented by the website. If the help request is marked Partly granted, please ask the help requestor the remaining part of the help request to grant.

If you open communication with a help requestor on a help request other than by clicking Grant request, the opening of communication on the help request and the subsequent granting of the help request will not be documented by the website. The help requestor will also report your offer to grant their help request as Undocumented (elaboration below).

If the help requests below include your own, and you are logged in on the website, and your help request is marked Under discussion, you will also see the links Prospective grantor, Benefit given, and Cancel discussion. Please click Prospective grantor to identify the prospective grantor, the person who started the dicussion that your help request is currently under. Click Benefit given if the prospective grantor partly or fully grants your help request. Click Cancel discussion if the discussion fails or you no longer wish to continue with it.

Conversely, if your help request is available to grant, you may see the link Mark as granted (meaning mark as fully granted). Please click this link if your help request is fully granted but is marked otherwise.

A message you receive offering to grant your help request may be a Documented or an Undocumented offer to grant your help request. A Documented offer to grant your help request begins with a click of Grant request at the bottom of the help request; it cannot begin otherwise. When you receive a message offering to grant your help request, check that your help request is marked Under discussion. If your help request is not marked Under discussion, the message is Undocumented offer: Do not answer it; report it as an Undocumented offer to grant help request. There is a Report link at the bottom of every message. If your help request is marked Under discussion, click Prospective grantor to identify the prospective grantor. If the person who has messaged you is different from the prospective grantor, the message is Undocumented offer: Do not answer it; report it as an Undocumented offer to grant help request.

NOTE. A post that is not a help request is prohibited on this page! If you see a post that is not a help request among the posts below, please report it as a Non-help-request. There is a Report link below each help request. If a help request has its own scroll bar, scroll to the bottom of the help request to see the Report link. Thank you for helping to sanitize this page.
